Ben Chase shares new single, “Chesney on the Lake”

BEN CHASE CLOSES OUT SUMMER WITH THE RELEASE OF THE REFLECTIVE TRACK “CHESNEY ON THE LAKE”

Today, breakout Canadian country artist Ben Chase bids farewell to summer love with the release of his third single of the year “Chesney On The Lake,” available for streaming today. A nod to Kenny Chesney’s notorious catalogue of summer hits, the mid-tempo, reflective track overflows with the warm nostalgia of love, loss, and the soundtrack of life.

On the new single, Ben shares:

Kenny Chesney is one of my biggest inspirations in music – some of my best memories from past summers are tied to Chesney songs. I couldn’t think of a more perfect song to end the summer season.

“Chesney On The Lake” follows Ben’s recent single “Bad Day To Be A Beer” – a high-energy track, crafted by a powerhouse team of Canadian songwriters (Tebey, Jimmy Thow, and Danick Dupelle). It perfectly captures the essence of summer in every note, with Dupelle’s production providing the party-ready backdrop for the sun-soaked single.

Ben’s new era of music kicked off earlier this year with summer sizzler “Somebody’s Summer,” which debuted at #1 on Apple Music’s Canada’s Country playlist, and became his highest streaming single to date. Entering the next chapter of his career, Ben has reintroduced himself this summer on some of Nashville’s most celebrated stages including Whiskey Jam, and CMA Fest, before diving into festival season across Canada.

Now calling Nashville home and signed to Nashville-based management company The AMG, Ben Chase continues to cement his reputation as a rising star in country music. With over 5 million streams to his name and multiple #1 songs on the Canadian iTunes charts, Ben frequents the Canadian country radio charts and has been the recipient of several industry awards and nominations. His dynamic live performances have made him a staple on the festival circuit, including the Calgary Stampede, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Big Valley Jamboree, and Country Thunder Alberta, where he’s been direct support for artists such as Dan and Shay, Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Zach Bryan, Zac Brown, Clay Walker, Sawyer Brown. Becoming known for his high-energy shows and emphasis on crowd engagement, he’s begun to make waves in Nashville with performances at The Listening Room, Whiskey Jam, and The Bluebird Café among others.
