LASSO Montreal 2024
Day 1: August 16th, 2024
With Dustin Lynch, Tyler Hubbard, Megan Moroney, Nate Smith, Larry Fleet, Chayce Beckham, The Castellows, Trudy, Graham Barham and Lanie Gardner
After a banging OSHEAGA and îLESONIQ, we’re back for one last summer festival at Parc Jean Drapeau, this time with the LASSO Montreal country hoedown! People showed up early (despite Day 1 being on a Friday), fully decked in cowboy hats and boots and ready to party!
We started at the main stage with North Carolina’s Lanie Gardner, followed by Louisiana’s Graham Barham. Over at the Ranch stage, Quebec former reality tv contestant turned singer-songwriter Trudy charmed the audience with a performance worthy of a main stage timeslot! Back over there, sister trio The Castellows brought triple trouble and sweet Neo-traditional country vibes. Up next, American idol winner Chayce Beckham brought the party vibes, while Larry Fleet‘s bass player Eric “Crazy Legs” Harley-Brown absolutely stole the show with his stage antics!
Things got taken up a notch as Nate Smith brought the country rock vibes to the stage, jumping in the pit to be closer to the crowd. He was followed by Megan Moroney, who charmed the crowd and brought all the female power as the only women at the top of the lineup. Former Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard then rocked the stage, followed by a high-quality production full of great vibes by Dustin Lynch, whose high energy and charm had the crowds smitten. Country legend Eric Church closed out the night, with a classic set full of honky-tonk anthems, making it a first day of LASSO Montreal to remember!
