Zach’s Picks of the Week – AUGUST 5 TO AUGUST 10, 2024

What’s going on all of you out there in the world of the Internet and earth?! Welcome back once again to the best place to find new music on the Internet. This is Zach’s Picks of the Week which is part of Canadian Beats Media, home to the best music on the Internet in my opinion so check it out.

These recommendations come from the website and the links can be found in this article. There is so much more to explore across this website. So check us out on all your favourite social media platforms and don’t forget to share what you find. But for now, you can check out and soak up all of these good new tunes.

However, right now we’re going to check out the six recommendations I have chosen from the articles on our website. The links are coming up right here to each individual one so please click on them and learn some new stuff. Right now we’re gonna get right into the music so I hope you enjoy, Zach’s Picks Of The Week!!

Five

Starting us off right will be a special interview highlighting a performer for the 29th Honey Jam Concert event happening in Toronto. This time it’s Kelowna’s Rebecca Sichon, best known for her blend of R&B, soul, and jazz. But she has unveiled her new single “Right Here,” which is available on all streaming services now. It captures a nostalgic, heartfelt sound, reflecting her journey and dedication to genuine artistry. If you want to learn more and hear that new single “Right Here” check out the link to the article right here.

Four

Next up, we’ve got a Five Questions With segment with Toronto’s R&B, songwriter & Multi-instrumentalist Divine Lightbody. She’s here with her smooth, sultry new single “Homies” which you can find on all streaming sites. It’s a light-hearted take on being in a situationship, divine’s effortless, sensual vocals, and confessional lyrics glide through the melody. “Homies” is the beginning of this musical journey for Divine where musical instrumentation and heavenly vocals take center stage with this release and upcoming releases. Go on and check out her new single and learn more via our interview, here.

Three

Coming up here is going to be the latest from the hard rock trio, Cudbear from Barrie/Toronto Ontario. Joining us this week with their brand new unveiled single, “Phantoms” find it on all your favourite streaming sites. This will be the first single to be released off of Cudbear’s upcoming album, PURPLE. It originated like many songs of theirs do, on the acoustic guitar and with haunting lyrics to back it up. There is an acoustic performance video attached to the article, which we have posted here.

Two

So now we have reached my second top choice of the week for the new music we have to offer. It’s going to be Alberta-based singer-songwriter Ryland Moranz, joining us with the new single/video for “When I’m Gone.” Which is available now on all your favourite streaming platforms, via Tonic Records. This easygoing folk-country track tackles the dark subject matter with a positive attitude, encouraging us to live in the moment. The video for “When I’m Gone” is a composite of 35mm projections from the silent film era using films that are in the public domain. Head on through the link here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

Now we have reached the spot of the show where we like to introduce you to an international artist from around the world. So this time we take the show to Eastern Europe to meet Tina Hyde, the multi-faceted alternative rock musician. She dropped the single “Happy Never After,” an emotionally charged melodic classic. The track features her dynamic melodies and live guitar playing by Rahill Mirza. Please head on over to the article and read up some more about our international bonus recommendation, Tina Hyde, and her song “Happy Never After” right here.

One

All right this is going to be my number one recommendation for the week, so I hope you enjoy this one even more. Hailing from Toronto and enriched by his Chadian roots, emerging artist Senny Rolls. Back with his next single “Midnight Drive,” embodies the laid-back and creative environment in which it was conceived. The song talks about love and seduction, cleverly highlighted in the lyrics, both the calmness of having someone by your side as well as the thrill that a relationship brings. Please check out the article linked above and I hope you enjoy my number one recommendation, Senny Rolls and “Midnight Drive”! You can go ahead and find it across all your favourite streaming platforms, or in the article here.

These are gonna be all of my recommendations that I’ve hand-picked for you to enjoy. So I hope you like them and share them with your friends and family this week. But there is so much more to explore across this website of ours. So please check us out and all of our social media platforms for the new music.
