Singer-songwriter Klô Pelgag unveils a stunning second single titled “Deux jours et deux nuits,” which echoes the ’80s hits. The album Abracadabra will be available on October 11 in coloured vinyl, CD, and digital format via Secret City Records.
Klô Pelgag tells us about what inspired this new release, which is perfectly timed for the summertime frenzy.

The artist from Bas-Saint-Laurent (QC) will soon be back on the road in Quebec, Paris and Brussels, with 15 dates on her schedule so far. With five musicians, Klô Pelgag invites us to join her on her eternal quest for fun. Eager to create music that is as urgent and powerful as our emotions, she figures that the answer might lie in every concert, a rare opportunity to share a moment that leads us to acknowledge the natural beauty of things, Abracadabra. The first 15 dates are on the agenda, and more will be announced soon.
Klô Pelgag talks about the theme of her new opus Abracadabra in this teaser. Watch it HERE.
“Abracadabra is a quest for the absolute, a desire to still believe in something. For all the knots we must untie in order to appear as we really are, without fear or embarrassment,” shares the singer-songwriter.
Each new Klô Pelgag album reiterates the unique place she occupies in the Francophone cultural landscape. Abracadabra is no exception. From the very first moments of the music, it’s clear that the contrasts that have always been part of the work have been refined. That the powerful, evocative poetic images have become clearer. Between fragility and complexity, the melodic flights fragment to reappear transfigured. The pieces showcase the full elegance of Klô Pelgag’s voice and bear witness to a genuine exploratory quest through the various ways in which she uses it. The magic lies in her ability to surprise and in her apparent refusal to stagnate creatively.
This time, working alone as a producer, Klô Pelgag has surrounded herself with her stronghold of recent years: Étienne Dupré on bass, François Zaïdan on guitar, Pete Pételle on drums, Virginie Reid on keyboards, and Pierre Girard on sound mixing.
