Shred Kelly Release Music Video & Announce Summer Tour Dates
Alternative Folk-Rock band Shred Kelly are excited to announce their 2024 summer tour. Following a successful 17-date album release tour in support of their 2023 LP Blurry Vision, including sold-out shows in Ottawa, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Medicine Hat, Calgary, Jasper, Lethbridge, Fernie, and Cranbrook, the BC-based band is pumped to get back on the road this summer. The tour will take them from BC to Ontario, including direct support performances for Mt. Joy at Ottawa Bluesfest and The New Pornographers at Between the Peaks. Full details and tickets can be found below and at www.shredkelly.com.
Shred Kelly also shared the official video for their song “Blissfully Unaware,” directed by their pal Dylan Siggers.
“Throughout the past few years, I’ve felt an anxiety that I haven’t experienced before in my life,” shares band member Sage McBride. “I’ve felt like I’ve changed (not necessarily for the better), whereas some people appear unchanged over the past few years. But it seems like I’ve experienced a monumental shift for me.”
On October 20, 2023, the band released their 6th album, Blurry Vision. The album recently garnered them a nomination for Rock Artist of the Year at the 2024 Western Canadian Music Awards. Produced by Nygel Asselin, the album is a deep reflection on the overwhelming nature of the modern world and its impact on our emotional well-being.
