Claudia Bouvette Shares New Summer Track, “Call Me Back!”
Claudia Bouvette officially kicks off summer today with “CALL ME BACK !”, a sun-kissed pop tune co-written with singer-songwriter Soran.
Filled with playful guitar riffs, the track explores the familiar dating dilemma: why won’t the other person call me back? Far from a lament, the song poses a series of amused questions, grappling with feelings of inadequacy in the face of the unknown. “CALL ME BACK !” is available now on all music services.
Claudia’s silky vocals blend seamlessly with the upbeat rhythms, evoking the sunny melodies of Empire of the Sun and The Japanese House. “I’m not in love / I’m just a little head over heels / Tongue tied / On a bittersweet souvenir / Yeah that night died out but usually / They call me back to see me again,” she sings over Soran’s skillful instrumentation.
To complement the release, Claudia unveiled a self-directed music video for “CALL ME BACK !” in collaboration with Samuel Olaechea, shot during a trip to Mexico.
