Fold Paper shares new single, “Idle Idle”

Fold Paper Share “Idle Idle” & Announce Debut EP, 4TO

Led by the Nigeria-born, Michigan-raised, and Winnipeg-based Chell Osuntade, Fold Paper are one of Canadian punk’s brightest sparks. With serrated guitars, pounding drums, and punching bass, the band crafts sprawling yet wiry post-punk that seethes with tension and animosity.

Today, they announce their debut EP, 4TO, and share the thunderous single “Idle Idle”. Out July 12th on revered indie label Royal Mountain Records, 4TO is an ambitious and vicious EP, taking aim at everything from hypocrites, yuppies, and support systems that don’t show up.

Rounded out by Brendyn Funk (guitar), Rob Gardiner (drums) and Mitchell Trainor (bass), Fold Paper’s raw, jittery, and energetic brand of post-punk has seen them share the stage already with bands like Pile, Cola, Holy Fuck and Stuck (who’s Greg Obis mastered this track), as well as perform at festivals like The Great Escape Festival and Focus Wales in the UK, as well as Canada’s East Town Get Down and Sled Island festivals.

4TO is out on July 12th via Royal Mountain Records. You can pre-order it here.
