On May 18, Australian rapper and singer The Kid LAROI kicked off the North American leg of his First Time Tour to Vancouver, BC.
He was joined by two support acts whose different music genres brought everyone together: American singer Glaive and American R&B artist Chase Sakur.
The Kid LAROI has rapidly become one of the world’s leading artists, rising to fame with chart-toppers like “Stay” and “Without You.” His latest album The First Time further cements his place in the music industry.
Around 9:30pm, LAROI took the stage with the electrifying “Sorry” and “What’s The Move?”, the atmosphere instantly ignited. He delivered a series of hits from his latest release as well as older material, moving from high-energy anthems like “I Thought That I Needed You” to the smash hit “Stay”. Production set-up was minimalist, helping focus the crowd’s attention to LAROI’s impressive commanding stage presence for a 21 year-old. It was one of those shows where the fans knew the words to every song, and it was amazing to witness.
The Kid LAROI proved himself not just a rising star, but a formidable talent. With his exceptional skill and passion, he captivated thousands, creating unforgettable moments. The Kid LAROI will be on tour in North America until July 10 with stops in Laval, QC on June 22 and Toronto, ON on June 23 so make sure to grab a ticket!
