MULTI-PLATINUM, AWARD-WINNING ARTIST BOBBY BAZINI RELEASES BRAND NEW SINGLE, “GREEN MORNING”
Multi-platinum artist Bobby Bazini shares his new single, “Green Morning” from his forthcoming EP, Stone of June. Inspired by the book “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown, Bazini wrote “Green Morning” to remind himself that even when he is faced with a difficult day or moment, he has a lot to be grateful for life.
“The book ‘Goodnight Moon’ is inspired by practicing the ritual of gratitude to combat depression. In the book the rabbit names all the objects in his bedroom that make him happy before going to sleep. In recent years, I’ve suffered more difficult days in my life but despite everything that was wrong I reminded myself I already had everything I needed, maybe even more,” shares Bazini. ” ’Green Morning’ is therefore a poetic mantra, a ritual I use to combat my dark days by repeating ‘Green, green morning, to the goodbye moon.’ I make sure not to forget to keep gratitude in my life, from morning to night.”
The Stone of June EP, which is set to be released via Spectra Musique on June 7th, is produced by Connor Seidel (Charlotte Cardin, Half Moon Run, Soran). Bazini and Seidel called on some of the most notable musicians in Canada to perform on the EP including Conner Molander (Half Moon Run), Robbie Kuster (Patrick Watson), Antoine Gratton, and Eveline Rousseau (The Barr Brothers), who can be heard playing the harp on “Green Morning.”
With over a decade of success in the music industry, including multiple JUNO and ADISQ Award nominations, platinum records, tens of millions of streams, and sold-out shows Bazini made a triumphant return in 2023 with his fifth studio album Pearl. A musical renaissance, Pearl received notable accolades from Canada, the UK, and beyond, including multiple Jazz FM playlist adds and widespread support from International tastemakers including DJs from CBC, NPO, KCRW, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, and Jazz FM.
With new tour dates added, Bazini is playing a handful of dates in July before continuing his tour this fall. Full list of dates below.
