PRIORI PREMIERES CAPTIVATING MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE, “WAKE”

Acclaimed Canadian electronic producer Francis Latreille, known as Priori, finally unveils the music video to “Wake“, his collaboration with digital artist Jack Anderson. Following the release of the official audio together with New York-based singer/producer James K, the “Wake” music video unravels sublime imagery, introducing a stunning glimpse of the immersive visual dimension of his upcoming album This But More set for release on May 30 via NAFF.

The scenes paint a picturesque passage of time in this changing of seasons through movements in sublime natural landscapes. Unfolds in the ruins in the middle of the forest, an offering transforms into a potent talisman – later rewarding patience. Matching the motions and the dreaminess of the song, the music video transports viewers into another realm while leaving room for their imagination.

This But More promises a richly textured electroacoustic sonic scape inspired by literature, film, and nature’s transformative power. The album features extensive collaborations with other musical collaborators, Anderson and writer Devon Hansen, who penned “Suggested Stories” specifically for this project.

Anderson elaborates,

“This film is my illustration of the stories written by Devon Hansen for the record. Making this film felt like trying to capture a dream, at times like water through my fingers. With these components together, I hope everyone can feel fully immersed in our world.”

Fans can anticipate a multisensory experience with Priori and Anderson’s upcoming live A/V world premiere at Montreal’s MUTEK Festival 2024.
