So what do you say we stopped dillydallying and let’s get right into the tunes. These are Zach’s Picks Of The Week coming your way!

Five

To begin this weeks list we have got an incredible Montreal-based producer and multi-instrumentalist. It’s Ouri returning with her latest single “Baby Has A Frown” across all streaming platforms. She pulls from her background as a cellist, harpist, and intent lover of reimagined dance music, the new single provides insight into the musical landscape in which Ouri currently finds herself. Be sure to go check out the new single within our article, just right here, and it’s also where you will find a list of her upcoming tour dates.

Four

Coming up next on our list, Geordie Gordon from Toronto is a singer/songwriter who is currently a member of two internationally acclaimed indie acts, U.S. Girls and Islands. Recently he dropped the music video for the album track, “Long, Long” featuring fellow U.S. Girls collaborator Kass Richards on vocals. Coming off his latest album Tambourine, available everywhere. You can check out the video within our article right here.

Three

Now we have the perfect song for playoff time, coming from Nova Scotia duo The Town Heroes. “Hockey Fights” is their newest single and is the most Canadian song you’ll hear all year. It’s available across all streaming platforms right now and is about falling for someone at a hockey game, and well a fight takes place on the ice. Be sure to go check out the new song in our article here.

Two

This is gonna be the runner-up for the top spot on my list of the best new music!

It’s Montréal artist Jacob Vanderham, also known as Telehorn, unveiling the new single “The Overgrown” and accompanying video. It was directed by Jasen Loughlin (Monolith Media, Montreal) and serves as the final single coming out in anticipation of the latest album, The Gravity of See You Later. Available now across streaming platforms, have a listen in our article right here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

It’s time for our international recommendations, right from the Canadian Beats Passport section. We now introduce you to Richmond, Virginia-based indie rock ensemble Wine & Warpaint. They are thrilled to announce the release of their new single, “I Don’t Mind” to all streaming platforms. This track is a potent blend of fierce melodies and introspective lyrics, showcasing the band’s signature blend of indie rock, pop punk, and post-hardcore sounds. The new song is coming off of their upcoming album, Disassociate, which is coming out June 14th. But please go enjoy our bonus recommendation, here.

One

Alright, this is going to be my final recommendation of the week for the best new music from my website. I hope you enjoy St. John’s Newfoundland singer/songwriter David Picco, here on Zach’s Picks Of The Week with the preview of his new album Until Now (out May 30). The new single “Still Doubt It,” is a funky slice of classic roots rock that exemplifies the sound Picco has honed for the past decade. But the brand new album “Until Now”, features 10 incredible tracks that you get to hear when it’s released, coming out very soon. But go on and check out our article, featuring his new single and my number one pick of the week. It’s David Picco with “Still Doubt It” right here.

Those are gonna be my recommendations for this list of the best new music around. Please be sure to support the rest of our amazing articles and the artists that are featured within them. Like I said there is so much more to explore on our website so don’t wait until it’s too late. We will be back next week with more awesome recommendations from this website of ours. So please be sure to bring your friends along for this musical ride. That is gonna be it for me this week, so I hope you enjoyed my picks of the week and tune in next time.
