Boiler Beach from Kincardine, Ontario is proud to announce their first release on Indie Tunz Records from St. Thomas, Ontario, “My Own Way.”
Known for stunning vocals and mixing genres in their original releases, Boiler Beach ventures into more straightforward rock ‘n roll with their newest release.
Andrea Matchett’s driving bass line and Mike Stopford’s rock-solid drumming provide a strong foundation to Terry Marsh’s impactful guitar work and Andrea’s melodic and powerful delivery of the lyrics announces that nobody can tell THIS girl what to do! She’s going to go “My Own Way”! The production of the track, done in-house at Andrea’s SUAP Productions, enhances the power of the track without overpowering the foundation of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums.
As principal songwriter of the group, Andrea was happy to let Terry take the lead on this track when he brought forward a song about individual strength in the face of outside pressures.
