Indie Pop Artist Luella Unveils Energetic New Single “GOGO”
Kingston-based indie pop artist Luella is set to ignite dance floors with the release of her latest single, “GOGO.” Drawing inspiration from the vibrant sounds of 70 disco tracks, Luella’s newest song marks a departure from the introspective themes of her previous album, Luna, delivering a fresh, upbeat vibe centered on self-love and unapologetic joy.
“GOGO” is a dance anthem speaking to the universal experience of enjoying getting ready for a night out far over actually being out.

“With ‘GOGO,’ I wanted to celebrate the joy of missing out and finding happiness in solitude. Who says being alone has to be sad? This song is an anthem for anyone who’s ever danced their heart out in their bedroom.”
Produced by her father, Zane Whitfield, at North of Princess Recording Studio, “GOGO” sprung from a disco track demo that had been sitting on the shelf for almost three years. Originally a jokey song about strutting around in the popular 70’s fashion item, gogo boots, it evolved into an empowering message accompanied by an infectious rhythm and catchy melodies.
