“BUCKET” THE VULNERABLE NEW TRACK FROM ALTERNATIVE ARTIST RUBY WATERS IS OUT NOW
JUNO Award-nominated, alternative artist Ruby Waters releases her new song “Bucket” via her own Wet Records. Full of nostalgia and vulnerability, Waters allows herself to explore the emotions of getting older in the song, and the idea of coming to terms with things in life you have no control over.
“Bucket is about trying to be nicer to yourself, coming to terms with feelings of nostalgia, letting go of the past, and accepting the things you can’t change,” says Waters of the new track. “All of the music and instrumentation of this song came together beautifully and organically with a group of incredible people on the west coast.”
With a new project set to be released later this spring, Waters just wrapped opening for City and Colour on his Canadian arena tour alongside Nathanial Rateliff and the Night Sweats. Starting today, she will take the stage with indie rock band Cold War Kids on their California-based tour, followed by a handful of headlining dates in Portland, Seattle, and Subaru Winterfest in Bend, Oregon this April.
