Broken Social Scene mainstay and breakthrough indie solo act, Sam Jr. returns with a fresh new single and music video released via Arts & Crafts, “Get Found”. Featuring the hypnotic vocals of Toronto musician Tess Parks, the track draws listeners into an atmospheric sonic experience manufactured by Sam Jr.’s distinct fuzzed-out guitar tones and raw vocals. The single follows previous offerings, “YRU” and “LETS GO SURFIN IN THE USA” with more to come.
Sam. Jr. showcases another side of his audiovisual artistry sitting at the helm of the writing, shooting, directing, and editing duties of the accompanying visuals. Eerie and enigmatic, the music video compliments the song’s heavy theme, as it recounts a fantastical Sun Blood maiden’s desperate escape from her predator, the monstrous Vym creature.
