ZACH’S PICKS OF THE WEEK – FEBRUARY 26 TO MARCH 3, 2024

Zach Coopz Shares His Top Posts From The Week

Let’s start off this new week with a brand new serving of the best music from all around. I hope you’re all enjoying your week and living it up! I’m your host and guide to exploring all this wonderful stuff posted on our website, Canadian Beats. These are Zach’s Picks Of The Week, my favourite articles that came out this week or recently. You’ll be able to find the links to each of these articles in this post. But coming up in the video very soon is going to be a clip from each of these top choices of the week. Needless to say, there’s not gonna be any shortage of new music for you to listen to, but without further to do. Join me this week with Zach’s Picks Of The Week right here in Canadian Beats.

Five

To kick off this week’s list we’ve got the return of Pembroke-based indie hard rock/metal band, HIGHFRONT. With a relentless onslaught of heavy riffs, and powerful and passionate lyrics. The guys have delivered their latest offering, “Sundown At Sally’s” in its entirety on all of your favourite streaming platforms. Be sure to go check out the article where you can hear all the tracks because HIGHFRONT invites all high-energy indie heavy rock fans to listen here.

Four

Moving along, we have the social media sensation A Short Walk to Pluto, who’s covered the classic Tears For Fears track, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”. Which is now available on all your favourite music streaming platforms, but this reimagined hit highlights the band’s own musical elements and creative style. The original song continues to demand respect for its perennially relevant lyrics that encapsulate Gen Z’s attention-seeking mindset. The full video can be seen right here.

Three

Next up we have Vancouver-based alternative pop singer, ROKI joining this week’s list. Her latest single showcases a darker and broodier side to her music, it’s called “Foolish Heart”. Go ahead and find it across all your favourite streaming sites and in our website article. On this new single, she demonstrates her versatility as an artist, who is not afraid to explore the complex nuance of human experience through music. Be sure to learn more about ROKI when you check out our Five Questions With segment with her, just through the link to our article here.

Two

We have now reached this week’s second top spot on our list of the best new music. This time we will be featuring contemporary, R&B artist, Mariannie and her latest musical offering, “Fool For You”. This blend of soulful resonance and modern sensuality is available to be heard on any streaming platform. It also is a self-produced masterpiece that embraces the essence of desire and being “head over heels” in love. Be sure to go have a listen to this beautiful song within the page of our article, just right through the link here.

Now it’s time to introduce you to an international artist, whose music has made it onto this week’s list. Hailing from Salt Lake City, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes, aka, I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (iDKHOW) joins us. Recently he has unveiled his new album, GLOOM DIVSION via Concord Records. One of the lead singles from this incredible album is “WHAT LOVE?” You can find it on all streaming platforms now and the video is featured in our article. That very same article features a lot about IDKHOW, so jump right through the link here.

One

This week’s number one recommendation will be coming from the alternative rock artist, Andrew Reinhardt who goes by the pseudonym GOLDRIDGE. Using the elements of rock ‘n’ roll, hip-hop, and electric music, he combines them to tell the stories of our ability to overcome daily obstacles and challenges. His debut EP, LEAVE BEHIND THE DARKNESS is available now and came together in collaboration with producer, Sam Arion of Mute Choir. Go on and listen to this masterpiece of an EP, within the pages of our article just right through here.

That’s gonna be it for Zach’s Picks Of The Week, so hope you enjoyed every single recommendation on my list. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to go explore everything else that has been posted this week. Trust me there is a lot and you won’t wanna miss it, right here on Canadian Beats. However, I also hope that your week ahead is full of positivity and good music. Because that’s what we like to share, good vibes and a dang good time. So from me to you, spread that love and positivity in the world and I will see you in the next installment of Zach’s Picks Of The Week. So as always, PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC EVERYONE!!
