INDIE-POP ARTIST OLEYADA SHARES ROMANTIC NEW SINGLE “POR SIEMPRE” AHEAD OF ANTICIPATED EP RELEASE, LATE NIGHT JAM OUT JULY 19
Indie-pop sensation, Oleyada, known for her mesmerizing blend of lyricism and dreamy soundscapes, unveils a mesmerizing new single “Por Siempre”. This intimate track serves as a preview of her upcoming EP, Late Night Jam, slated for release on July 19.
“Por Siempre” showcases Oleyada’s signature style with its playful yet profound lyricism, inviting listeners on a journey through love, nostalgia, and introspection. With a depth and complexity that belies her years, Oleyada effortlessly invites audiences to lose themselves in her enchanting melodies.
The single is Oleyada’s first Spanish-language release that explores the idea of granting freedom within the confines of commitment.
“I wrote this with Malik Mungo (The Free Label). He wrote the guitar part while we were filming a video (“Dig Yourself”) in Kariya Park and asked me to write something Spanish on it. It was my first time writing something fully in Spanish, but I took the dive because I respect him so much as a musician and was eager to write with him. It was on the back burner for a long time because it didn’t sound like everything else I was releasing but it fits perfectly on this EP.”
Along with the announcement, Oleyada will premiere a live rendition of “Por Siempre” on Sunday, February 18 (filmed at Junto Studios in Toronto, ON). The performance carries a sophisticated yet accessible sound, drawing from a diverse range of genres to craft a stylish and evocative musical experience.
With previous hits like “History” and “Late Nights” amassing over 70k streams each, and her 2023 collaboration with Joan Alasta, “Almost Fall In Love” garnering a staggering 871k streams, Oleyada’s star continues to rise, drawing acclaim from all directions.
