Canadian alt-country trio Elliott Brood showcased the sound they have honed after 20 years of performing together to the crowd assembled at Maxwell’s the third stop of their present tour. The Juno award band’s new motto seems to be “Doing it the hard way for 20 years.” With a tour underway and new music scheduled to drop in April, we hope they continue doing it for many more years.

Toronto’s Sam Polley & The Old Tomorrows were a perfect opener.
