Tonight, beloved Montreal singer Patrick Watson played the first of four sold-out shows at MTelus! The evening started with a surprise opener, who ended up being none other than Acadian disco queen Lisa LeBlanc, in front of a thrilled audience!
Shortly before 9pm, Patrick Watson started his show singing from behind a black curtain. For the second song, the black curtain opened to reveal a sheer white curtain, becoming a screen for projections! The curtain also lifted not long after, breaking the final barrier between him and the audience.
Just like when we caught him at MTelus back in 2019, the show was soft, raw and beautiful. It was an intimate and cozy evening, full of beautiful emotions and a perfect way to end the week!
Patrick Watson will be playing MTelus on February 2nd, 4th, and 5th, and will be playing orchestral shows in Toronto on November 2nd, and in Montreal on November 28th, 29th and 30th. For tickets and more info, visit his website.
