On Tuesday, Ontario-born musician and singer, JP Saxe, brought his ‘A Grey Area World Tour’ to the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC.
Fellow Canadian singer-songwriter, Justin Nozuka, opened the night with tracks from his latest album ‘Daydreams & Endless Nights’, released in June 2023.
At 8:45 sharp, JP Saxe took the stage of the Vogue dressed in dapper baby blue suit. He began his set with “Someone Else’s Home” from his newest album ‘ A Grey Area’, released in September 2023. Halfway through the song, he took place behind his piano painted similar to his album cover. He then came out from behind his piano to play on his guitar, interacting often with his band.
Throughout the night, he charmed the crowd with his self-deprecating humour and anecdotes. He ended his set with “How To Stay Human”, an unreleased track, only posted on his Instagram. Throughout the night, Saxe held everyone’s attention and then left them wanting more.
