All of these articles, of course, have been selected from our website and presented by yours truly. These are Zach’s Picks Of The Week, the place you’re gonna find the best music on the Internet! At least that’s just my opinion, but I like to think highly of it. I have a video coming up in this post, that’s gonna showcase a clip from each of my recommendations this week. But you can also go through the links to the original post and all the info plus their socials linked as well. So now you know what’s going on what do you say we check out the new music, coming up right here on Zach’s Picks Of The Week.
Five
Starting off our list of the new incredible music is going to be contemporary, pop artist, Kristin Carter from Vancouver. Who’s pleased to share the official music video for her current single, “I’m Still Here.” it’s available across all streaming platforms, but you can check out the video in our article. It’s an enchanting sound bath composed entirely from Carter’s own voice using expressive harmonies and overtones that allow the strong and purposeful lyrics to come alive. please be sure to give it a listen in our article linked around here.
Four
Moving along in our list, we have a Canadian singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer to introduce to you. Naol’s sophomore album, Remember That You Must Die just came out across all streaming platforms and was featured on our website. Inspired by the Latin phrase “Memento Mori” which is translated into English with the album’s title. You can listen to each song when you check out our article where we feature Naol and his latest album just right through here.
Three
Next up on our list, we have our first country artist all the way from the Waterloo region. Amanda Kind recently announced her inaugural EP, titled The Good Fight across all streaming sites, and where music is available. This project took three years to craft and features singles like, “Slow Dance,” “Jumping Through Hoops” and “Rebel Spirit”. Have a listen to the new EP, The Good Fight when you head on through this link, we have right here.
Two
Coming up right now at my second top spot of this week’s new music, includes pop singer Skyzz. Who’s ready and here with the latest single, “Without You” available across all streaming sites. The inspiration behind the song stemmed from the sudden and tragic passing of his best friend, but through his sorrow, he found healing in the creation of “Without You”. Be sure to check out the lyrical video within our article right here.
BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport
This week’s international artist that I wanted to feature from our Canadian Beats Passport section is one that was posted back in 2023. Collette Cooper, a UK artist known for her individual, unmistakable voice returns with the part in her festive collection. Following her 2022 impactful EP, she returns with Darkside of Christmas Chapter 2 on all streaming platforms via Thelonious Punk Records. Chapter Two aims to recognize the recent difficulties that have been felt by many around the world, touching on themes of love, loss, and empathy. Go on and listen to all the tracks on the EP, just right through the link we have right here.
One
This is gonna be my number one recommendation for Zach’s Picks Of The Week and I saved the best for last. If you haven’t heard of this award-winning Canadian country star, then you must be living under a rock, because Andrew Hyatt is someone you should know. He unveiled his highly anticipated, EP L Is For via 604 Records, and is on all streaming platforms now. It is a collection of five acoustic tracks that focus on Hyatt’s experience with separation and betrayal. Go on and have a listen to all of them in our article. We have linked right here.
Well, those are gonna be all of my top recommendations from our website this week. Be sure to go and explore the rest of our website, because we’ve got plenty more awesome content to explore. All kinds of concert coverage, new music being released, or even interviews with your favourite artists. So go on, check out Canadian Beats for all it’s worth and I will hopefully see you back here next Monday. I will be providing my recommendations once again on Zach’s Picks Of The Week so tune in with your friends.
