Multiple award-winning country band Nice Horse has unveiled their new single, “Things I Wish I Didn’t Know.”
The single was written by Brandi Sidoryk, Katie Biever, Danick Dupelle, and James Thow and produced by Murray Pulver (The Bros Landreth and Ariel Posen) at OCL Studios. The single reflects the feelings following a breakup that you haven’t gotten over. As allyship is important to the band, Nice Horse wrote it without using gendered pronouns so that any listener can put themselves in the same situation.
“As a band that stands as members and allies of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community, we wanted to truly make the lyrics relatable to everyone,” said Nice Horse. “It was important for us to use non-gendered pronouns in this song, so that anyone listening could put themselves in the shoes of our heartache as if it was their own. ‘Things I Wish I Didn’t Know’ is relatable; and it is for everyone.”
