Dan Davidson shares video for “He Met A Girl”

They say things come is threes – three good “things” are happening for country artist Dan Davidson

FIRST: On October 4, PLATINUM-certified, multi-award-winning country artist Dan Davidson released the official music video for his heart-swelling anthem “He Met A Girl.” The nostalgia-filled video follows the journey of what happens after someone tells you, “he met a girl” and captures the endearing moments that follow as their love story unfolds.

Davidson shares,

We went FULL 80s on this one. I bought an old camcorder (and a bunch of stuff to get the footage off the tapes) and did my best Corey Hart impression in my studio in Edmonton. Then, we found the perfect young couple to bring the lyrics to life while shooting in San Diego. I really wanted to channel the type of video you would have seen Much Music VJ Steve Anthony introducing in 1989.

SECOND: Dan Davidson’s album Nineteen Eighty Something will drop on October 26. He’s stepping into a bold new era of music with this album creating an irresistible blend of modernized country with the perfect amount of pop nostalgia. Davidson first introduced the project with the hard-hitting anthem “If These Streets Could Talk,” which debuted his fusion of 80s synths and electric guitars with a spacey pedal steel. The recent release of “He Met A Girl” only amplifies his new infectious direction.

THIRD: November marks Davidson’s third good “thing.” Davidson’s first headlining tour is coming in hot! In November, he’ll be hitting the road in support of his new album Nineteen Eighty Something. On the road with him will be Montreal’s Five Roses.
