Canadian Country Star Andrew Hyatt Releases New Music Video For “Still Somethin”
2023 CCMA Award nominee and reigning CCMA Rising Star Award winner, Andrew Hyatt released the new music video for his hit single “Still Somethin’” (604 Records).
Produced by Scott Cooke (Chase Rice, Dallas Smith), “Still Somethin’” is about the nostalgia of music and how it connects to those moments in life that make us who we are. The song is one of eight tracks from Andrew’s highly admired EP Four Good Years (604 Records), which recently received a Canadian Country Music Award nomination for Album of the Year.
Directed by Brandon Ferguson (Nickelback), the music video was filmed at the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, AB, in the streets of Nashville, TN, and in a studio using cinematography techniques inspired by 90s music videos — a decade that influenced Andrew’s tastes in both rock and country music artistry.
“When we made this video, we really just wanted it to be something that summarized all of the influences in the places that represent live music and the nostalgia of music for me,” said Andrew Hyatt. “From the lights of Broadway to the stage to vignettes that nod to 90/00’s rock videos. We kept it simple and kept it fun.”
