But before you do that, check out my six recommendations that I have featured here for you this music Monday. They are all linked in the description below this post. But you will also get to witness and hear a clip from each artist and song, down in this week’s video. Be sure to like, subscribe and comment on your favourite artist, so that we can feature them next time. Now let’s get started with this week’s list, of incredible entries!

Five

Beginning the recommendations this week is an artist who reached out to me and was featured here on the Canadian Beats. Introducing Toronto-based artist, Alex Southey joins us with his latest single, “Never Listen”. Which is available now and is his first offering of new music since the release of his previous EP, Common Fantasies. Go ahead and watch the new video through our article right here.

Four

Next up, we have the very talented Vancouver-based pop singer Jessica Chaz joining our show. She has revealed a brand new EP of remixed versions of her single, “Dreamin”. Which contains a beautiful and stripped-down, Acoustic version of the song that we are highlighting. Featuring the very talented Tristan Paxton on guitar, you can find it now on all streaming platforms. However, it’s much easier if you go through the link to our article here.

Three

Stopping in at this week’s top three, Calgary-based hip-hop artist K-Riz celebrates his signing to Birthday Cake Records by unveiling a new single. “Inside Your Love” is available on all streaming platforms and was accompanied by a video directed by DaKidT. The new tune will appear on his forthcoming album, One Way Ticket, be sure to go, check out the video, and see when the album is going to be released in an article right here.

Two

This week second time spot goes out to the acclaimed Canadian-American singer-songwriter, Rachael Kilgour. Who’s back with her second single from her forthcoming album, My Father Loved Me. It’s titled “Heart On Fire” and can be found on streaming platforms now. Intimate and vulnerable to the core, the gorgeously heart-shattering song reflects on the grief and loss of a loved one’s physical form after they pass away. go and check out the new single right in our article here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

Now it’s time for this week’s, Canadian Beats Passport, bonus coverage! Which is going to include New York-based indie rock Americana band Smoke Ring Days. Their upbeat and positive new single, “Peace In My Soul” can be found across all music streaming sites. It helps to act as a slice of soul salvation. A song that will help lift your spirits and get you to think about your day. Listen here.

One

Now it’s time for my final recommendation this week, gotta know we save the best for last! Please give a warm welcome to my number one choice, Montreal/Saint John-based artist, Fireball Kid. His debut 11-track album is titled Gas Station and features singles like “Asking You Out”. It’s definitely the perfect track to begin the album, as it does a great job of pulling the listener in and wanting more. Be sure to go listen to the album here.
