Jenn Grant Announces Champagne Problems Album Tour

Jenn Grant today announces her Champagne Problems Album Tour. Like the record itself that spans musicians from coast to coast, the tour will see Jenn cross the country, with dates including Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax, and more.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 14th. The tour news is accompanied by a special video featuring Dan Mangan and Jenn from their collaboration “How About Mine?”.

Jenn Grant’s music is deeply empathetic and generous of heart, so of course one day she would invite the whole country to make it with her. Champagne Problems features twelve unique collaborations with Jenn and some of the most celebrated artists in Canada- Kim Harris, Aquakultre, Basia Bulat, Bahamas, Dan Mangan, Hannah Georgas with Amy Millan, Kevin Drew, Ria Mae, Josh Qaumariaq, Slow Leaves, Joel Plaskett and Tim Baker.

Dan Mangan represents the west coast on the album and “How About Mine?” is a track he brought to the writing session that sets a pair of lovers inside a Montreal bar and watches what happens. The video was shot by Jenn, Dan and Jenn’s longtime collaborator, co-producer, and husband Daniel Ledwell.

How About Mine?” is the latest video to be released from Champagne Problems and follows “Lion’s Mane”  (ft. Kevin Drew),  “Judy” (ft. Kim Harris), “How I Loved You” (ft. Amy Millan, Hannah Georgas), “All of This Time (Bahamas) and “One Hit Wonders” with Ria Mae which is currently #12 on the CBC Music Top 20.

Champagne Problems was recorded and produced by Jenn and Daniel Ledwell at Lake Echo, Nova Scotia. The LP is Jenn’s eighth album and first in the producer’s chair. The 12 tracks encompass a series of collaborative Canadian magic tricks spun into classic country, lost disco hits, and ruminative folk fables.
