Festival d’été de Québec just started today! Despite the sweltering heat, Quebecers from all around gathered on Les Plaines d’Abraham for a double-headline bill. First up, Ontario punk rockers Billy Talent obliterated the stage with a set high in energy and full of surprises (including a special performance from former drummer Aaron Solowoniuk)!
Up next, LA’s very own Weezer had the crowd singing along from the first songs My Name is Jonas and Beverly Hills, all the way to Island in The Sun and final track Thank You and Goodnight, without forgetting a memorable cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman.
All in all, Festival d’été de Québec was off to a banging start, with much more excitement coming in the next few days with Imagine Dragons, Foo Fighters and many more!
