When this year’s Iceberg Alley lineup was announced, I knew this specific show would be loud and it certainly was. 

Slaughter was up first and while waiting for them to start, I heard a mother in the front row telling her daughter that she was so excited because she had waited 30 years to see them. I heard lots of others chatting about how excited they were to see them. 

Next up was Great White. I didn’t know anything about them before this show except that they were a band from the 80s, so I wasn’t surprised when the members were in their 50s & 60s, but what did surprise me was that their singer, Brett Carlisle, was only 25. He fit in perfectly with the band and certainly did their songs justice.

The headliner of the night was Quiet Riot, another band that was popular back in the 80s and another band that fans were super excited to see in the tent that night.
