The Redhill Valleys mark their MDM Recordings Inc. label debut with a new single and an accompanying music video for “Long Way Back”
On June 2, Americana / Roots band The Redhill Valleys {Chelsea McWilliams (bass/vocals), Tim Allard (lead guitar/vocals), Danielle Beaudin (guitar/vocals), and Matt Soliveri (drums)} release their latest single “Long Way Back” via MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada, offering a standout track that demands to be heard by melding country guitar licks with powerful rock undertones. The song is accompanied by an official music video directed by Zach Zohr that takes viewers to the set of a far-out ’70s-inspired video shoot, emphasizing the lighthearted personalities behind the commanding music.
About the new single, the band shares,
“We love leaning into rhythms and riffs that have a lot of energy. Our favourite thing about “Long Way Back” is how it felt when we first played it together; even on acoustic guitars during the writing process with our friend Chris Gormley (The Trews). It already had our toes tapping. We tend to straddle the line between Rock and Country a lot and we feel like this song does that and really showcases our love for both genres.”
