Jungle Release New Single and Video “Dominoes” From Upcoming Album, Volcano
British producer duo Jungle took another big step towards the August 11th release of their eagerly anticipated fourth album VOLCANO by sharing the new single “Dominoes.” The album’s lead single “Candle Flame” (featuring Erik The Architect) became a major airplay hit, with Radio 1 support progressing from Sian Eleri’s Hottest Record to Arielle Free’s Tune of the Week before being playlisted. Further boosted by plays at Radio 2, Radio 5, 6 Music, Apple Music 1 and Radio X, ‘Candle Flame’ is now approaching 8 million streams.
“Dominoes” is just as immediate. Its sparkling guitar motif, looping soulful vocals, and warm organic instrumentation replicate the exuberance of Jungle’s famous live show and soundtracks the summer.
The “Dominoes” visual delivers precisely what you want from the multifaceted creative world of Jungle – expressive, inventive, eye-catching one-take choreography that brings a physical language to the music. Directed, as ever, by J Lloyd & Charlie Di Placido of Contentus Maximus, the video segues seamlessly from “Candle Flame” and drops a teaser as to what to expect from their future track release, “I’ve Been in Love.”
The VOLCANO album will represent a leap forward for Jungle. Not only embracing their position in the music community by drawing upon their broadest array of featured collaborators to date, but their innovative production expertise means that almost every single note you hear on the album is entirely original – it features just one sample. The result is an inspiring, life-affirming experience that will provide communal joy on the dance floor as well as personal escapism through headphones. You can pre-save it here.
This summer will see Jungle perform to a total of more than 190,000 people, starting with a landmark London festival headline set at All Points East. They will then take their euphoric, full-live band show across America and Europe on a tour that includes numerous arena dates and includes stops in Vancouver on September 13th, Toronto on September 21st, and Montreal on September 23rd.
