Zach’s Picks of the Week – May 1 to May 6, 2023

It’s time to find out which five articles Zach Coopz wants YOU to check out!

Good Music Monday to you all, and welcome to the show that keeps returning. Every week here at Canadian Beats Media, it’s time for Zach’s Picks Of The Week, where I give you my top five weekly recommendations that came out on our amazing website. You will get to enjoy these clips from each of these picks of the week in this week’s video. You should also read this post and find your way to each of these articles. So let’s get started with the music; kicking things off, it’s number five!

Five

Beginning our list is going to be Canadian-born electronic musician, NevadaSYSTEM. He’s established as one of the leading figures in the melodic techno space. He brings his latest single in 2023 called “Simulacra Rising,” and it is available across all streaming sites now. It’s the ultimate driving soundtrack for your late-night escapades. So hit the road and let the music take you on an unforgettable journey under the stars. But one stop on your journey should be the article where we share the new single “Simulacra Rising” here

Four

Moving on in our list to Saskatoon-based alt-rock group The Radiant, who has revealed their new single “Smooth Parts.” The single comes from their latest EP, “Logical Steps,” which is available everywhere. In addition to the new single, they teamed up with prehistoric productions and Creative Saskatchewan to create a “Murderously Good Video.” The video has a horror-inspired vibe, reminiscent of the classic American Psycho movie. Check out this video for yourself and read our review here

Three

Moving on to the top three for this week’s list brings back the Toronto-based synth-pop quartet NEON BLOOM. Their back with the new single “One Last Time,” a playful garage-rock-inspired tune about a woman longing for someone to whom she has a purely physical attraction. The music video portrays the story leading up to Neon Bloom’s previous Spy Thriller video for the previous single, “It’s A Crime,” released in 2020. Be sure to go and check out those videos online and the new one here

Two

My list this week includes Italian pop singer Filomena Croce. She’s got a new single, “Renaissance,” that is out now on all streaming platforms. But it was recorded in Toronto with incredible producer Roy Hamilton III, who’s worked with artists like Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, and NSYNC. “Renaissance” fittingly marks this new beginning for the phenomenon singer/songwriter. She celebrates a renewed focus, another opportunity to take life by the horns and live it to the fullest. That’s a powerful message we can all take and use in our lives. So go and check out Filomena’s new single, “Renaissance,” here

One

Finally, we have reached my last recommendation of the week. I want to introduce you to Miss Tammy Darling from Toronto, who’s got a new EP out. You know when you start getting those romantic feelings for someone, you might feel a surge of passion that comes from feeling a strong connection with them. Well, that’s the feeling you get with her new record, “Electric Love,” which you can find on all streaming services. You can listen to the title track in our video or in our interview here.

Thank you so much for checking on my recommendations. I really hope you enjoyed them. There are many incredible articles and posts to explore here at Canadian Beats Media. Thank you for checking on my top five for this week. We will be back next week to bring you more exciting content. However, you can soak these choices in and tell your friends about them before we give you another helping. You can come back next music Monday and see what other options I’ve got for you. Until next time, spread some love and positivity in the world. Check out Canadian beats and PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC, EVERYONE!!
