Review
As a first-time listener to Kromatix_, I was pleasantly surprised as soon as “June 4th” began with a smooth beat which drew me in.
The slow-burning, relatable track showcases Kromatix_’s soulful and emotive vocals as he sings of the moment he realized he and a special someone both felt the same about one another.
The chorus is catchy and memorable, with Kromatix_ singing, “You had my attention all this time, I realized it’s your that’s always on my mine, It’s you.“
Overall, “June 4th” is a stellar example of flawlessly blending RnB with neo-soul and even some pop elements and serves as an excellent introduction to Kromatix_’s incredible vocal talent.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hey there, I’m Kromatix_! I’m a neo-soul and RnB singer, songwriter, recording artist, and jazz pianist from Toronto, Canada. I was born to Jamaican and Guyanese parents and was drawn to music early on. I studied jazz and played varsity volleyball at Humber College, and I continue to devote my time to helping current and upcoming artists develop professionally.
My music style blends sublime lyricism with groovy beats, trademark harmonies, and soulful chord progressions that simply complement my euphonious vocal tones. Attracting a growing fandom since my first two singles, “Show U Off” and “Fruit-Loops,” I took my artistry to new levels with a slew of releases, including “Songs of Hope,” “Don’t Waste My Time,” “Your High Is Overrated” music video, my 2021 “Thoughts & Afflictions” EP, and my latest single, “Lotus Blossom.” I am excited to share my music and story with the world, and my upcoming EP, Cosmic Love, is set for release on June 9th, 2023.

The song is about a special someone whom I thought was just a friend for a really long time, and how we both admitted to one another how we felt about the other for so long. That event happened on June 4th, and while we both didn’t know and could hardly believe, the crush was heavily mutual!
