Brett Kissel releases music video and an acoustic version for his hit single “Never Have I Ever”
Multi-PLATINUM, three-time JUNO Award-winning artist Brett Kissel unveiled the music video for his single “Never Have I Ever” and an acoustic version of the track.

“Never Have I Ever,” which has seven million global streams, was written by Brett Kissel, Elizabeth Lowell Boland, Ron Lopata, and Thomas “Tawgs” Salter and is the feature track from South Album of The Compass Project that was released in January.
The music video, produced by Ben Dartnell and Connor Scheffler, showcases Kissel playing the banjo and performing while sketches and designs dance across the screen. One of the drawings featured in the video is a compass, which pays homage to Kissel’s The Compass Project.
Kissel shares this about the video,
“This music video is just straight up fun. We tried to capture the fresh and adventurous vibe that the song carries and make it come to life visually, and I think the animation –which I just think is so cool – helps to do that. Never have I ever put out a music video like this, but I’m damn grateful we did. I think my fans are going to love it!”
The second installment of The Compass Project – East Album – is set for release on April 28.
