Last night, Vincent Roberge aka Les Louanges brought his Crash tour to a sold-out MTelus! A full circle of sorts, as the tour had been launched there last year.
As the audience was waiting for the show to begin, they got an early surprise as Vincent appeared on stage, dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants, casually popping in to introduce the opening act!
French rapper Brö arrived onstage for their first Canadian performance, and absolutely nailed it. Accompanied by two musicians, the Parisian Elisa Brolli charmed the audience with her sharp lyrics on men and relationships!
Shortly after 9pm, Les Louanges came back to the stage, this time in a shirt and dress pants. Appearing with a full band (including horns and several background singers), their silhouettes against a bright backdrop sent the audience into a frenzy. His signature neon hair popping amidst the haze, Vincent stumbled across the stage, giving a very cinematic performance. Just like when we caught his surprise midnight shows at Les Francos this summer, Les Louanges absolutely hypnotized us with his spacey alt-pop. All in all, a solid show showcasing one of Quebec’s brightest rising stars!
