Now’s your chance to find out Zach’s Pick of the Week

Now it’s the show you’ve been waiting for since last week. It’s time for another exciting and exclusive list of the best Canadian articles featured on our website, Canadian Beats. They have been appropriately nicknamed Zach’s Picks Of The Week and are featured here on Music Monday. So I hope you are ready for new music because I’m ready. I’m here for you. There will be a clip from each of my recommendations in the video posted below. The links to each article are in this post, so scroll down and read up! Let’s get right into the new music, everybody, and remember to share with your friends this week.

Five

Let’s begin this week’s list with a Vancouver-based country pop artist, Dana Schindel. Who’s debut single, “Keep Moving Forward,” was just released to all streaming platforms, and we featured the lyric video in our article. The inspiring track tells the story of some great advice she received from her beloved dad. Personal and deeply fitting for these times, this storytelling country song starts and builds to an uplifting anthem for anyone who’s found themselves in need of some heartfelt encouragement. So please take a listen and be sure to head over to our article, where we have highlighted Dana Schindel’s new single. “Keep Moving Forward” here.

Four

Moving onto our next recommendation in our list of new music takes us back to Vancouver again, but this time we are introduced to alternative R&B duo Jonathan Maniraho and Kathryn Masters, best known as Midnight Genius. Together they have unveiled their latest single, “High Alert,” to all streaming platforms. In it, they talk about the different communication styles, especially regarding conflict and disagreements. If you want to listen to the new track “High Alert,” check it out here.

Three

Now we are in the top three, which brings us to Toronto-based 7-piece alternative rock band Augusta. The group’s latest single, “Better Off,” is on all streaming platforms and is the follow-up to their previous release, “Little Birds.” The latest single was written during the band’s first retreat to the cottage side, where they wrote quite an anthem and featured a talented group of friends singing on the chorus. You can listen to the new single, “Better Off,” plus check out our Weekend Beats feature here.

Two

We are proceeding onward in this list of incredible new songs and articles. We meet up with a Canadian-born artist but now based in Nashville. It’s Shantaia, who has had a great year in 2022, and now she’s ready to take 2023 to the next level with her emotionally packed single, “Know You.” The new single can be found on all streaming platforms, and you can hear it across radios everywhere. This hard-hitting track is co-written by Shantaia, Vanessa Marie Carter, and renowned songwriter Paul Sikes. Shantaia is quickly making herself known as one of Canada’s hottest export to watch. Her latest single, “Know You,” is available to be listened to anywhere, including the article we have posted through the link here.

One

We have finally approached my final choice of the week from our incredible website of new music and talented musicians. One of which dropped a brand new single on New Year’s. The incredible artist I am referring to is Toronto’s Blaine Walker, whose latest single is destined to go down in Toronto history. The track is called “Party In The 6ix” and was written as an anthem, designed to celebrate everything Walker loves about his city. Especially the sports teams, musicians, and artists or the city culture. Be sure to find it now and all your favourite streaming sites, and also you can have a listen to it in an article where we also have a mini-interview here.

Those are going to be the articles that were handpicked by yours truly, here from our fantastic website. Be sure to tune in next week when I bring you another list of the best Canadian songs. There are so many more articles to go and explore on our website. New music and all kinds of content is posted daily here at Canadian Beats, so don’t miss it. Thank you for joining us on Zach’s Picks Of The Week. I’ll see you back here next Music Monday. I hope your week ahead will be excellent and full of good vibes.
