Yesterday, les Francos de Montréal unveiled the first artists of their upcoming 32nd edition, presented by Bell and Loto-Quebec and taking place from September 9th to 12th 2021 downtown Montreal. Local up-and-comers and staple artists will be taking over two large exterior stages on Place des Festivals and Parterre Symphonique, for a series of free shows, eclectic encounters and creators at the peak of their art, impatient to be in front of an audience again!
While the full lineup and schedule will be released at the end of August, the festival has shared that Sarahmée, Jérôme 50, Calamine, Klô Pelgag, Amay Laoni will be part of the fun!
The delirious Bleu Jeans Bleu will also be there with the Spécial Carte Bleue show, a party with guests showing the irresistible hits of the dynamic quatuor. Emotions will be high with Nikamu Namuitun, an intercultural project and inclusive celebration of the song weaving the art of native and non-native creators Matiu, Karen Pinette-Fontaine, Scott Pien-Picard, Ivan Boivin, Marcie, Cédrik St-Onge, Chloé Lacasse et Joëlle Saint-Pierre. Finally, Quebec rap fans will be treated to local heroes Koriass & FouKi in an exclusive show featuring their respective hits as well as their joint album “Génies en herbe”.
These in-person outdoor shows will follow all government recommendations and all on-site COVID-19 health and safety measures.
