Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

suffer fools is a conceptual project centered on debbie debased: former child star, current trainwreck, future pop messiah. it is a postmodern experiment in bringing together at times disparate genres – for example, shoegaze & trap or glam rock and dream pop.

Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.

Everything is written, recorded, and produced by debbie. debbie is an unapologetic control freak – prince in the studio, in other words.
I describe this track as an apocalyptic glam rock acid flashback. the music is very conceptual and involves a degree of method acting and storytelling from different voices

Do you have any upcoming shows? For someone who has yet to see you live, how would you explain your live performance?

No upcoming shows for obvious reasons. Future shows will be heavy on visuals and very noisy and unhinged.

If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?

ocean of grief‘ or this very song!

Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/ artists?

Cindy Lee & Gal Gracen from Vancouver; JP Lancaster from Kamloops BC, Odonis Odonis from Ontario
