Care to introduce yourself to our readers?
Hello, my name is Lauriel Inc. I’m a singer-songwriter and music LOVER. Hailing from Brampton Ontario Canada.
Tell us a bit about your music and writing style.
I love r&b, folk, soft rock, and many other genres of music. But that is the style of music the ones I singled out are the genres you hear coming through the most in my music. I’m really imaginative, and dreamy, you’ll hear that coming through in all of my music.
What have you been doing to keep yourself creative during the pandemic?
I’ve been writing songs for myself and doing a couple of collaborations. I’ve also been keeping myself busy with some home DIY projects. Revamping my bed room.
If you were asked to suggest only one of your songs for someone to hear, which would it be?
I would say past midnight. It’s my fave although it won’t be released as a single.
Canadian Beats is all about Canadian music, so who are your current favourite Canadian bands/ artists?
Fave Canadian artist.. hmmm I have quite a bit!
Doing music in both Montreal and Toronto I’ve met a lot of Canadian musicians and I appreciate them all. So hard to pick a favourite. So I won’t. I love all Canadian music and try to support Canadian artists and music.
