Who: Half Moon Run
Where: MTelus, Montreal QC
When: Thursday October 31st, 2019
Halloween might have been cancelled in Montreal yesterday (with the city and neighbouring towns postponing celebrations to the following day because of a rainstorm), but that didn’t stop some fans from putting on a costume and heading over to MTelus, for the long-awaited homecoming of Half Moon Run.
Dressed up as hippie musicians, the Montreal-based Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, Dylan Phillips et Isaac Symonds took to the stage under a thunder of applause, for a very special show celebrating the release of their latest album, “A Blemish in the Great Light”, scheduled to be out a few hours later. In front of a sold-out venue, the band gave a performance overflowing with energy, to the sound of a perfect setlist mixing hits from their past 2 albums and sneak peeks of their newest record.
