On October 21, American singer-songwriter Kehlani brought their Crash World Tour to the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, BC.
The evening kicked off with two solid opening acts. Anycia started things off, warming up the crowd with her confident stage presence. Then, UK girl band FLO took the stage bringing their infectious energy, harmonies, and catchy tracks, reminding me of Destiny’s Child.
By the time Kehlani hit the stage on an elevated platform, the crowd was fully hyped. They opened with “Next 2 U” and “Groove Theory.” Their dancers appeared on stage for “What I Want,” showing off the incredible choreography. They danced energetically across the stage, captivating the audience with every move.
The setlist was a perfect mix of new tracks from Crash and hits from their earlier albums, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t and SweetSexySavage. Fan favourites like “Toxic,” “Can I,” “Water,” and “Nights Like This” had the crowd singing along.
Throughout the concert, Kehlani made sure to connect with the audience, expressing their appreciation for their unwavering support. They shared personal stories about their journey, the inspiration behind Crash, and the importance of being back on stage. Their live show is truly one you don’t want to miss.
