Molly Annelle shares new single, “Love Your Lova”

MOLLY ANNELLE ANNOUNCES JUNEBUG OUT SEPTEMBER 20th VIA 604 RECORDS

Singer, songwriter, and soul cowgirl, Molly Annelle has announced her new EP Junebug, out September 20th via 604 Records, and shares the latest single “Leave Your Lova”.  Molly has been playing and writing music since the age of five, was awarded Young Composer of the Year at just nine years of age, and signed to 604 Records at 17. This new collection of songs is a coming of age for Molly.  Co-produced by Parker Bossley (Hot Hot Heat, Gay Nineties), Junebug firmly establishes her as a woman in her 20s, firmly grounded in nature, love, and cowboys.

Molly knew her home was on stage or behind the piano penning songs and poems that would make grown-up dinner guests cry since she was 5 years old. At the tender age of 9, Molly won the Young Composer of the Year award, beating out university students who competed for the same title, by composing a four-part harmony piece for the Vancouver Chamber Choir. From there, Molly found a passion for music production and released her first self-produced EP Pick Me Ups (2018)  in, and shortly after was signed to 604 Records. Her first album Elevator Music is a diary of stories from high school set to the tune of indie pop, R&B, and bossa nova influence.

After graduating high school and moving to Toronto, Molly released her second self-produced mixtape Homebody– a realization that her home was not in the big city, but back by the ocean and mountains of British Columbia.  Molly moved back home and got to work on writing as many songs as possible along with her musical partner Max Cunningham. Junebug is out September 20th via 604 Records.
