Zach Coopz Ends November With His New Picks of the Week

Once again, it’s that time of the week when I deliver you the best music around on the Internet. The weekly featured article here on our website is called, Zach’s Picks Of The Week! The place I feature six incredible articles from this website that I believe should be shared with the world. They are brand new, five of which are from Canada, and one international feature. All around great music to start your week off with and share with your friends, and each of these articles will be found below. Before you do that, you should also check out a clip from each of these songs that was featured in this week’s video. So what do you say we get started with a brand-new Music Monday with the latest music around!?

Five

Let’s begin this week’s list with a new album and guitar giveaway! Liona Boyd is affectionately known as, “The First Lady of the Guitar.”  She is also set to captivate music lovers worldwide with her latest album, Once Upon A Time. This album can be found across all streaming platforms right now and here on our website. Just go through right through the link here.

Four

Moving on down our list of the best new music will be bringing us to a Vancouver Island-based band. Wet Future has unveiled their latest heartfelt single, “Mona Lisa,” via Elbowroom Recording. Go check it out now and on all your favourite streaming platforms this new single is a bridge between modern rock with the tonality of 80s pop-rock. So go and explore the rest of this article here.

Three

Making our way into the top three on our list is going to be incredible UK-born, but now Ontario-based singer-songwriter, Gracie Jet. She often sings about conventional themes like love and relationships, but also includes heartbreaking scenes from what she witnessed during the pandemic when she was a nurse. But now armed with an album of her own, ready to launch a career as a solo artist with her lead single “Sway.” Which is available across all streaming sites, so be sure to check it out now, it’s featured in our article right through the link here.

Two

Making it this week onto my list for the best new music is going to be, Vancouver-based indie-folk artist Dylan Perkons. He has just unveiled his new video for his single “Good News”, which can be found now across all streaming platforms, and fun fact, it was written just a few months into the pandemic. Perkons found the initial spark for the track from a writing prompt he received while participating in an online songwriting workshop. You can listen to his brand new single when you visit our Five Questions With segment, that’s gonna give you lots more info about the very talented Dylan Perkons, here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

This week’s BONUS recommendation is going to be an in-photo coverage of one of our most recent concerts. On November 14th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, our correspondent Heather Horncastle caught British rock duo, Royal Blood in concert. Opening up the show was another English rock trio called Hot Wax seemed like the audience was treated to an incredible high-energy rock show. All the pictures are available in our Facebook album, but check out the article for a couple of these shots right here.

One

This will be my last recommendation, my final pick of the week and I hope you’re ready for it. Because I’d like to introduce you to, country singer-songwriter Kalsey Kulyk from Beaumont Alberta. Has quite the bona fide hit on her hands with her latest single, “Love Me Like an Outlaw” which is available on all streaming platforms and is currently sitting in the top 30 hits on Canadian country radio. Recently, she has also revealed the music video, described as a visual spectacle with a cinematic down-home feel. Check out the video for “Love Me Like an Outlaw” now in our article through the link here.
