Zach Coopz Returns With His Top Picks For The Week
Happy Halloween and good Music Monday to all of you, musicians, and ghouls! You’ve just stumbled upon this week’s feature exclusive, Zach’s Picks Of The Week. These are just some articles that were handpicked by yours truly from our amazing website, Canadian Beats Media. Only the best and coolest make my list. But everybody is the coolest in my books, at least. Even if they’re not featured, you should explore the rest of our website this week and last. You will be able to check out each of these articles just down below, in this post as well as have a listen to each of them in this video. However, what do you say we get into the “treats” of our segment right now? It’s time for the new music that has been showcased on this music website.
Five
Starting off our list is Montreal-based artist, YA NO. Who’s turning heads with his debut album Mesearch, available everywhere now. This genre-defining record has many incredible tracks on it, including the new single “Too Much”, it’s is accompanied by a new video. This video is featured in our article that we have posted just below, so go check it out right here.
Four
Moving on, we have a Five Questions With segment with Kitchener Ontario’s Indie rock band, Wayfarer. They are a band that rewards curiosity, because the more you listen to their music, the more you’ll find reasons to keep listening. Their latest song to be released is called, “Eviction Spree” and it’s available everywhere now. It was written about circumstances that affect a lot of people these days, losing your stable affordable housing to unrelenting greed. Go and check out the new Interview with Wayfarer today, just through the link here.
Three
Then we had multi-PLATINUM duo The Reklaws and international breakout artist Drake Milligan teaming up for their newest single “Honky Tonkin’ About”. It’s available now across all streaming platforms, and the music video is available in the article. They travelled to Romania, to film a wild west-inspired music video on the Paramount film set. Definitely wasn’t something any of the country artists expected, but we’re happy they did. The video is available in our article and see what we have to say right through the link here.
Two
Next, we have an emerging artist and thought-provoking lyricist, Vivek Mehmi from Mississauga Ontario. Recently, he has a compelling new song titled “Garage Sale,” it’s a powerful anthem that delves into the tensions between established systems and individual needs. The song’s thought-provoking lyrics challenge listeners to connect with themselves, and so do we. So go and check out the article and listen to “Garage Sale” just right through here.
BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport
This week in our Canadian Beats Passport section, I wanted to showcase an incredible artist who hails from Australia. Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Kat Greta is showing the world she is just getting started, with another release fast approaching. Her latest single, “Season To Believe,” is out now and can be heard in our article. Go on and explore the naturally born musician with a lifetime of experience, Kat Greta in the article right here.
One
Now it’s time for my final recommendation, it’s going to be the very talented, Chinese-Canadian singer Vicki Lovelee. The multi-hyphenate singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist whose music combines pop with dark, dramatic sounds dives into new something new on her latest single “Hunter”. Available across all streaming platforms right now, but she hopes to change the narrative of who the prey and who the hunter are when it comes to our own mental health battles. Please be sure to check out the new lyrical video for Hunter, as well as our interview with Vicki Lovelee here.
I hope you enjoyed those recommendations because I know I did. There’s more like that all across this website. So be sure to go explore all that Canadian Beats has to offer. I really hope you go and check out all of my recommendations on their social media platforms. The links are in the articles that were featured in this post. However, I hope you all had a great Halloween and got lots of candy and scares. I will be back next week with more awesome music from this website. So tune in and tell your friends about Zach’s Picks of the Week here on Music Mondays. PEACE, LOVE, and GOOD MUSIC EVERYONE, and have a good week!
