The 29th annual Ontario Folk Music Awards will take place in London, Ontario on Sunday, October 15, 2023, following the Folk Music Ontario Conference

Recognizing the outstanding work and contributions of Folk artists and musicians from across the province of Ontario, Folk Music Ontario (FMO) is pleased to announce the nominees for the 2023 Ontario Folk Music Awards. Taking place at the end of the Folk Music Ontario Conference, the 29th annual award ceremony will take place at London, Ontario’s Aeolian Hall on Sunday, October 15, 2023, and will feature performances by a select number of nominated artists.

Established in 1987, the 2023 Folk Music Ontario Conference will take place October 12-15 in London, Ontario, and welcomes attendees from across the country to the event. To learn more, FMO invites interested parties to visit their website and sign up for their newsletter.

Still to be announced are the recipients of three prestigious special recognition awards – the Estelle Klein Award with two categories – Lifetime Achievement Award and Community Builder Award, the Colleen Peterson Award, and Taylor Mitchell Bursary, along with the performers at the event.
