Churchill Park Music Festivals is bringing the music to St. John’s, NL
The first annual Churchill Park Music Festival kicks off next week for three packed days of music. This brand new festival, located in the heart of St. John’s, NL, has had fans buzzing since the first announcement back in December 2021. The festival will have a licensed 19+ area and a limited all-ages section.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday, August 12th, will be rock legend Ann Wilson of Heart & The Amazing Dawgs, joined by Canadian rockers Randy Bachman Band, David Wilcox, and Harlequin.
Saturday, August 13th will see multi-platinum pop rock band Matchbox Twenty at one of their only shows in 2022. Joining them will be no strangers to Newfoundland, Our Lady Peace, as well as Gin Blossoms and Timber.
The festival closes on Sunday, August 14th, with a celebration of Come Home 2022. The Irish Descendants will headline with special guests Bud Davidge (of Simani), Celtic Connection, Masterless Men, Kubasonics, and Carolina East.
