Hey, we are Ceilings from Winnipeg. We are a four-piece punk rock band formed in 2017. We debuted our first EP right here on Canadian Beats back in 2018.
It’s a five-song EP entitled Double Vision. It’s definitely our favorite release we’ve done so far and the happiest we’ve ever been with the songwriting and how the recordings turned out. We recorded it with our good friend Shane in his basement studio and had it mixed by our other good buddy Greg. We also got some guest vocal features from our friends Mandy (Death Cassette), Keith (Danger Cat), and Gammon (Louser).
I think we always tend to pull inspiration from the bands we grew up listening to. On this release, however, we definitely incorporated some heavier influences as well as some post-hardcore influences.
