Vogue Theatre, Vancouver, BC
On Friday, November 28th, Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein brought their 25 Years of Noise Tour to the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC. Noise indeed, as fans packed the 1200-capacity venue for a night of moshing, crowdsurfing and singing their hearts out to the songs that defined their teen years.
The Burlington, Ontario band is celebrating a major milestone: 25 years together. Juno-nominated, Billboard-charting, and having sold over one million albums worldwide, they’ve cemented their place in the post-hardcore scene.
The night felt more like a celebration of the music and the band. Fans showed up, sang their hearts out to classic songs like “Smile In Your Sleep”, “My Heroine”, “Smashed Into Pieces,” and “Bleeds No More.” The band also expressed their gratitude for fans being there from the very beginning, through CDs, Napster, and now streaming their music. With two-and-a-half decades in music and an extensive catalogue of songs, it was certainly a memorable night for Vancouver fans
