Unfortunately, we couldn’t cover Day 1 of FEQ, but we jumped into the action on Day 2, and the energy was already sky-high. From pop-punk anthems to reggae grooves and metal breakdowns, FEQ delivered a genre-blending whirlwind of talent and unforgettable performances. Here’s how it all went down:
Day 2 kicked off with high energy and a stacked lineup of incredible artists.
Chiara Savasta opened the evening on the main stage. An up-and-coming artist from Montreal, Chiara made an effortless leap from a small Toronto stage—where she opened for Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers—to this massive headliner stage. She and her band delivered the perfect pop-rock blend to set the tone for what was to come.

Next up were Simple Plan, delivering a nostalgia-soaked set packed with anthems that had every elder emo in the crowd screaming at the top of their lungs.

Closing out the night was Avril Lavigne. The pop-punk princess played to a sea of fans that stretched beyond the bounds of the venue—truly a royal reception for Canadian music royalty.
Side stages were equally electric, with standout performances by Men I Trust, Thundercat, Marjo, and La Jungle.
Day 3 – Pop, Blues & 90,000 Voices
Day 3 of FEQ leaned into pop and blues, and the energy didn’t let up for a second.
The Bell Main Stage lineup kicked off with Julyan, a Quebec native whose catchy, genre-blending pop sound was the perfect opener.

He was followed by the ever-eclectic Remi Wolf, bringing her infectious energy and catalogue of undeniable jams.

Then came Benson Boone, making his Quebec debut—and what a debut it was! Performing for over 90,000 fans, he delivered a high-octane set that had the entire crowd singing along to every word.

Meanwhile, the side stages continued to impress with powerful performances from blues rock legend George Thorogood & The Destroyers, the soul-stirring Matt Andersen, and Australian pop rockers The Cat Empire.
Day 4 – Rock Legends & Global Rhythms
Day 4 brought class acts for fans of Classic Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggae, offering one of the most eclectic evenings of the festival so far.
On the main stage, the night kicked off with legendary Canadian rockers April Wine.
Followed by high-energy performances from Extreme.
Next was the iconic Def Leppard, who proved that rock ‘n’ roll is very much alive and loud.
Over on the side stages, festivalgoers were treated to a dynamic lineup of global talent, including reggae powerhouses Ammoye, Yaadcore, and King Cruff, as well as genre-fusing sets from Protoje and the incomparable Wyclef Jean, who brought serious grooves and powerful messages to the stage.

Day 5 – Folk, Country & Heavy Sounds
Day 5 delivered an incredible blend of Folk, Country, Punk, and Metal, showing just how wide the festival’s musical reach can be.
On the main stage, the evening featured crowd-pleasing sets from Menoncle Jason, Les Hay Babies, and Salebarbes, filling the air with down-home vibes and infectious energy.
Meanwhile, on the side stages, things got louder and heavier with killer performances from Sudden Waves, Rouge Pompier, Swollen Teeth, Grimskunk, and In Flames — a lineup that gave punk and metal fans plenty to thrash about.

The best part of this festival is the wide range of genres it showcases, blending international artists and local talent into one unforgettable experience.
This marked my last day at the festival, and it was a great time.
