Incubus, Manchester Orchestra & Paris Jackson
June 30, 2025
Budweiser Stage, Toronto, ON
On Monday, June 30, 2025, a shelter-in-place order came out just as crowds were arriving at Budweiser Stage. Thunderstorms and an intense downpour started as groups huddled, waiting to get into the venue. Luckily, the storm was brief, resulting in only minor delays to the show.
Supporting act Paris Jackson (yes, THAT Paris Jackson) took to the stage as the audience filtered into the seating area. The 27-year-old model, actress, and singer released her debut solo album Wilted in 2020. Jackson cites Radiohead as her main influence for the album, which was a collaboration with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra. It’s no surprise that both acts are supporting Incubus on their current tour. Fans were treated to Incubus’ Mike Einziger joining Jackson on stage for part of her set. Jackson’s barefoot, raw performance showcased her natural talent.

Manchester Orchestra performed next. Lead singer and guitarist Andy Hull formed the band in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2004 while still in high school. Lead guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist Robert McDowell joined the group in 2005 and has been a contributor to songwriting alongside his solo project Gobotron. Drummer Tim Very joined the band in 2011, with bass guitarist Andy Prince joining in 2013 following founding member Jonathan Corley’s departure. The group delivered a tight performance featuring their hit songs The Gold and The Silence among a variety of other hits from their extensive catalogue. Manchester Orchestra is stopping for their own sold-out headline show in Lexington, Kentucky, on July 2nd before rejoining Incubus for their next show in St. Louis on July 3rd.

By the time Incubus took the stage to perform Morning View in its Entirety along with the hits, the puddles were starting to dry up. The band, which was formed in Calabasas, California, in 1991 by lead vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose Pasillas, opened the show with Nice to Know You, the first track on Morning View. Playing through the entire album as promised, Incubus worked the crowd into a frenzy, with Boyd incorporating a gong and stripping his shirt off mid-set. VIP fans were treated to an up-close and personal show, with viewing decks on both sides of the stage. With 24 years under their belts, Incubus delivers a great show. As they filed out of the venue, fans continued to talk about how pleased they were with the experience.
