Bluewater Borderfest got the citizens of Sarnia out and enjoying live music at Centennial Park through three beautiful June nights!
Beginning Thursday, June 19, with their country spectacular, the festival welcomed superstar and Survivor season 21 runner-up, Chase Rice, to town. Rice, who was in town promoting his latest album, Go Down Singin‘, was supported by 2024 JUNO Award winners, James Barker Band, and Maple Ridge’s Madeline Merlo, who wowed the crowd with her latest single, “Middle of the Bed.”

Sarnia’s first responders were in the spotlight on Friday, June 20, as Bluewater Borderfest hosted their first two nights of the highest quality rock! Alt-rock superstars, the Fray, headlined a night that also featured a trio of CanRock royalty. The Big Shiny generation was thoroughly enthralled with openers, Econoline Crush, while classic rockers welcomed home local legend, Kim Mitchell, and Big Wreck brought power to the night’s rock and roll lineup!

Finally, the weekend capped off Saturday, June 21, with an alternative and punk rock spectacular, featuring pop-punk rockers, Faber Drive, American rockers, Hinder, and Canadian punk royalty, Billy Talent, who offered the Sarnia crowd an intense send-off to a great weekend of live music!

Sarnia now looks forward to July’s Revelree Music Festival in Canatara Park, which promises another great weekend of rock, pop, and everything in between!
